Adel joined Lion’s Head in 2021. He is a member of the AfricaGoGreen team and focuses on origination and execution of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.
Prior to joining Lion’s Head, Adel worked for the Nigerian Energy Support Program (GIZ), the UK Green Investment Bank, and Bloomberg New Energy Finance. Adel has an MSc (Honours) in Sustainability, Alternative models and Social Innovation from HEC Paris and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut

Alban is a Director in Asset Management within the OGEF Team.
Prior to joining Lion’s Head, Alban spent 6 years at Goldman Sachs in London, where he focused on price verification and valuations for private credit and private equity investments.
Before that, he worked in sales at Amundi Asset Management, and in equity research at Natixis. He holds a Masters in Financial Techniques from ESSEC Business School and a Masters in Business Engineering from EPF Graduate School of Engineering. He is also a qualified chartered accountant in the UK.

Alix has over 18 years’ experience in energy infrastructure across the UK and Africa. Prior to joining Lion’s Head, Alix spent 4 years with infrastructure investor, InfraCo Africa, focusing on financing projects across the power, transport and logistics sectors, with a focus on minigrids. Before that she consulted for a renewable energy developer in Tanzania, supporting them to secure financing to develop hydropower projects servicing both the national grid and rural distribution networks.
Alix’s passion for developing and financing minigrids has featured throughout her career, as she believes they have a vital role in delivering the Sustainable Development Goal 7: Ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.

Prior to joining Lion’s Head, Chris spent nine years as Director of Global Policy Development for George Soros, based at Soros Fund Management. Before that he worked for Goldman Sachs for thirteen years. His last position at Goldman was Chief Risk Officer of Goldman’s commercial bank. Before that he ran a credit trading desk in the commodities business, headed the Latin America Debt Capital Markets team, and was responsible for managing the firm’s Latin America sovereign and credit risk. Prior to joining Goldman, Chris taught economics at Boston College and Columbia University.
Chris has a Ph.D. (Economics) and an M.I.A. (International Affairs) from Columbia University and a B.A. from Oberlin College. He chairs the boards of Oberlin’s Board of Trustees, the Fund for Global Human Rights and the Institute for New Economic Thinking. He is a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He spent his childhood living in Latin America and Spain.

He was the lead banker on a new multilateral development institution – The International Finance Facility for Immunisation (IFFIm), on behalf of the governments of France, Italy, Norway, Spain, South Africa, Sweden and the UK.

Cora is licensed as a Barrister and Solicitor by the Law Society of Ontario. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours Psychology) from the University of Ottawa.

Prior to joining Lion’s Head Dan spent over 20 years with the British Army, working predominantly as a senior strategist and policy adviser in the UK Ministry of Defence. He has extensive experience in the Middle East and Africa and served operational tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He joined Lion's Head in 2017 as an Executive Director, providing strategic advice and technical expertise to a range of clients, including the Government of Jordan, USAID's INVEST initiative, and United for Global Mental Health. Dan is a graduate of the UK Joint Command and Staff Course and has an MA in International and Defence Relations from King’s College, London.

Prior to Fieldstone Maxime was an Investment Manager at John Laing Investments. Maxime joined Lion’s Head as an Executive Director in 2019 bringing more than 12 years of experience in originating, designing and executing financing solutions for the infrastructure and energy sectors in emerging markets.
Prior to joining Lion’s Head, Maxime was a Senior Vice President at Fieldstone Private Capital Group where he advised on transactions in the energy sector in Africa. Prior to Fieldstone Maxime was an Investment Manager at John Laing Investments. Meghana is an Investment Officer at the Facility for Energy Inclusion (FEI). Meghana has over 8 years' experience in developing, executing, structuring, and managing power and infrastructure projects, particularly in Africa and Asia. Prior to joining the FEI team, she was an Assistant Vice President at Zarou, a Blackstone portfolio company, set up to develop, own, and operate power and renewable energy, water and mid stream projects in the Middle East and North Africa.
Previously, Meghana was an Investment Executive at the CDC Group where she notably helped set up Ayana, the South Asian renewables platform, worked on the power JV with AKFED/IPS, and was seconded to AKFED/IPS in Kenya.

Michaela is the Office Manager for Lion's Head's Dubai office. She holds a master's degree in Marketing and Media communication. Prior to joining Lion’s Head, Michaela worked for seven years as Cabin Crew and later on as Cabin Supervisor for Emirates Airline. She also worked for law firm as Office Manager. Previously, while still studying, Michaela worked as Marketing and Sales representative for a publishing house.

Prior to joining Lion's Head, she worked for Water Sector Trust Fund, a Government agency that facilitates sustainable financing of the water sector. Her role was financial management and project management in the Urban and Commercial Financing Investment Units. She also worked with KWFT Bank and Impact Research Development Organization which focuses on the design and implementation of Public Health Programs.
She holds a degree in International Business Administration-Finance from USIU, graduating with an MSc in Development Finance from Strathmore University and she is a certified Public Accountant.

Nick worked to develop a group wide strategy building a vertically integrated value chain across the group's portfolio companies, including the development of a trade finance strategy suited to the local economies and entry into the physical trading of certain key commodities. Other work included advising a number of client's on various stages of their investments into the region.
Nick joined Lion's Head in April 2018. At Lion’s Head Nick is focused on Lusophone Africa and primarily supports Advisory work in Energy & Power.

Prior to Renaissance Capital, she worked at Vetiva Capital Management. Olamipo holds a BSc Economics from the University of Warwick.

Previously, Rebecca worked as Assistant to the CFO of a London Private Equity firm and as Assistant to the CEO of a global hotel company.

Earlier in his career, Thibault worked within the Bolloré Group, to structure infrastructure development under PPP scheme in Africa and emerging countries. Thibault is a graduate in Corporate Finance from Rennes School of Business and holds a Master’s degree in Management.

Wouter has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Brussels and an LLM in European and International Business Law from the University of Vienna.

Bim Hundal, who passed away in 2017, was Lion’s Head’s chairman and founder, and was instrumental in guiding the firm to where it is today. Bim was a friend and mentor to all of us at Lion’s Head and the firm has grown into a flourishing, successful business thanks to his inspiration and the foundations that he helped lay.
