We combine the experience of many years of investment banking at world class institutions such as Goldman Sachs. Our backgrounds are diverse, yet complementary, which we believe delivers the breadth but also the focus required to service our clients and investors.
Bim Hundal is an expert in debt capital markets, structured finance and liability management. Prior to founding LHGP, he was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he joined in 1991. Initially Bim built and ran the Euro Medium Term Notes desk, servicing clients from all major markets in their funding needs. In addition to managing the business globally, his responsibilities included primary underwriting, structuring and origination. In 1997 he established Goldman's capital markets business for Central Europe, Russia, Middle East and Africa. He ran that business until he left in 2007; during that time he built relationships and executed financing and liability management transactions in Russia and CIS, Greece, Qatar, UAE, South Africa, Turkey, Israel, Tunisia and Central Europe. Prior to Goldman, Bim worked at Swiss Bank Corporation International and First Chicago in a variety of investment banking roles. Bim has an MA in economics from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge.
